Can I use filter coffee grounds in the garden?

💡 Our Advice
Yes, they are a good source of slow release nitrogen (about 2% by volume). They can be used as a liquid feed, applied at a rate of 30g (1 oz) in 4.5 litres (1 gallon) of water, or as a barrier to deter slugs and ants.
