How can I get rid of vine weevil grubs in my containers?

💡 Our Advice
It is too late in the year to use a biological control due to low temperatures, but you can drench the compost with Provanto Vine Weevil Killer from Bayer or Bug Clear Ultra Vine Weevil Killer from Scott's. Follow this by placing a 2-3 cm (1 in) layer of gravel over the surface of the compost to discourage the insects from laying eggs in the pots.
