How can I prevent the buds and flowers on my peony from rotting?

💡 Our Advice
This is usually caused by a form of grey mould fungus, spread by water splashes. Spraying young growth and flower buds (before they open) with Fruit & Vegetable Disease Control from Bayer should protect the flowers. Remove and burn any rotten flowers and stems.
