How do I protect my pot-grown olive tree in this cold weather?

💡 Our Advice
Branches and stems of most olives may cope with temperatures to -5C, but the roots are less tough so wrap the pot in 2-3 layers of bubble wrap. In extreme cold cover the stems with horticultural fleece held in place with clothes pegs. Move it to a sheltered spot if you can.
