How do I store bare-root plants until I can put them in the garden?

💡 Our Advice
Wrap the roots in wet newspaper or something similar and place in a bucket. This will keep the roots moist, but allow them to breathe. Store the plants in a cool, frost-free place such as a garage. Check them regularly and plant when the weather improves.
