What can I do about tiny toadstools spreading in my lawn?

💡 Our Advice
The fungus causing the toadstools is living on dead organic matter such as a layer of dead grass or fragments of root under your lawn. Try spraying the toadstools with water and sprinkling sugar on to them. This will overload them with carbohydrates and should cause the toadstools to shrivel and die, but it may need to be repeated.
