What caused brown spots on my broad beans last year?

💡 Our Advice
This is a fungal disease called chocolate spot, which can be a real problem when we have warm, wet or humid weather in spring and early summer. Sprays of Organic 2in1 or Copper Mixture, both from Vitax, will help to control the problem. To avoid a recurrence this year, plant at wider spacings, rotate your crops and do not save any seed from infected plants.
