What has caused black spots on the leaves of my Christmas rose?

💡 Our Advice
This is hellebore leaf spot, a fungus similar to grey mould. It is spread by water splashes. Trim off affected leaves and spray new leaves as they open with Systhane Fungus Fighter from Bayer or Fungus Clear Ultra from Scott's to keep them free from infection.
