What causes dead patches on my raspberry fruits?

💡 Our Advice
This is caused by raspberry beetles feeding on the developing fruits. Use a beetle trap to help catch any on these insects while the canes are in flower. After petal fall, keep the plants well watered to help the fruits swell and spray with Provanto Ultimate Fruit and Vegetable Bug Killer from Bayer or Resolva Bug Killer from Westland.
