What causes wiggly brown lines on holly leaves?

Our Advice:

Holly leaf-miner maggots. It looks unsightly and may cause leaves to fall early but does no real harm to a healthy plant. For control, spray in early-summer with Provanto Ultimate Bug Killer from Bayer or Bug Clear Ultra for Flowering Plants from Scott's.
