When is the best time to prune Berberis darwinii?

💡 Our Advice
Ideally, just after the flowers die off, so it can produce flowers next year. It can cope with hard pruning (up to two-thirds of the growth) and will recover. After pruning, feed with a general fertiliser to encourage new growth.
