When can I prune my wisteria?

Our Advice:

In February trim 1-year old shoots back to 3 buds and prune back any shoots showing damage. In late-July train in the growths you wish to keep and trim the rest to about 30 cms (12 ins). Also cut out any dead shoots as they are easier to see in summer.
