Nutrient deficiencies: If the leaves are pale yellow, this could be a sign of nitrogen deficiency. If the leaves are yellowing around the edges or tips, this could be a sign of potassium deficiency. Try fertilizing with a balanced, slow-release fertiliser to provide the necessary nutrients.
Overwatering: If the soil is too wet or the drainage is poor, this can lead to root rot and other problems, causing the leaves to turn yellow. Make sure the soil is well-draining and that any excess water is able to drain away.
Pests or diseases: Yellowing leaves can also be a sign of pests or diseases, such as aphids or fungal infections. Check the plants for signs of pests or disease and treat accordingly.
