Why are the flowers on my Impatiens wilting or dropping prematurely?

💡 Our Advice
Wilting and dropping of flowers can be caused by several factors, including underwatering, high temperatures, and exposure to direct sunlight. Impatiens prefer moist soil and partial shade, so they may not tolerate full sun or hot, dry conditions well. Fungal diseases such as verticillium wilt or impatiens necrotic spot virus can also cause flowers to wilt and drop prematurely.
