Why do my redcurrants have pink blisters on the leaves?

💡 Our Advice
This damage is caused by currant blister aphids feeding on the undersides of the leaves, and if it is not dealt with your redcurrant could lose most of its leaves. Spray the undersides of the leaves with Sprayday Bayer Greenfly Killer'>Greenfly Killer from Bayer or SB Plant Invigourator. Next year start spraying as soon as the fruits start to swell.
