How can I kill bindweed growing in a privet hedge?

💡 Our Advice
Push about 60cm of the bindweed shoot tip into a clear polythene bag, add a small amount of Weedol Rootkill Plus Concentrate from Scott's and tie the neck of the bag. As the shoot carries on growing in the bag the leaves will take up the chemical, killing the bindweed as it is taken down into the roots.
