My bulbs in the garden have started to emerge - is this a problem?

💡 Our Advice
These bulbs are quite tough and should be perfectly safe from cold damage. The flowers are more likely to be damaged by wind or by birds pecking to get any insects feeding on the stems and flowers. Try to keep off the areas where bulbs are planted, those shoots just below the surface are easily damaged by treading on them.
