What has eaten the leaves of my Kilmarnock willow to skeletons?

💡 Our Advice
This type of damage is usually caused by sawfly caterpillars, which only eat the sections of leaf between the veins. Sprays of Resolva Bug Killer from Westland or Bayer Greenfly Killer'>Greenfly Killer from SBM would kill any remaining adults and caterpillars. If you can, keep disturbing the soil around the plant so the birds can find and eat the pupae.
