What is the fertiliser used to cure brown spots in Bramley apples?

💡 Our Advice
The brown spots are caused by a mineral deficiency called bitter pit, which occurs due to a lack of calcium. Apply J Arthur Bowers Garden Lime from Westland under the tree in early spring or use foliar sprays of Calcium Multi-action from Thompson & Morgan from mid-June to mid-September to increase calcium levels.
