When is the best time to move a climbing rose?

💡 Our Advice
Autumn is the best time to move many plants including a climbing rose, so it can produce new roots before winter. Mix general fertiliser such as Vitax Q4 or Growmore into the soil as you finish planting. Tie the plant securely to its support structure and remove any damaged shoots. Firm well to stop wind rocking the plant.
