How can I get rid of brambles?

Our Advice:

Cut the stems down low. When the new growth is about 30 cm (1 ft) high, spray with SBK Brushwood Killer from Vitax or Superfast, Long Lasting Weedkiller from Neudorff. These are absorbed by the leaves and attack the roots, but several applications will be needed for established weeds.
