How do I treat white, mossy fungus on my azalea?

💡 Our Advice
This is lichen rather than fungus. It is not harmful, but may harbour fungal spores or insect eggs. Apply Bordeaux Mixture (Vitax) to help to clean the trees or, in winter, use Sulphur Rose (Greenacres Direct).
