Is it too late to harvest rhubarb from the garden?

Our Advice:

Yes, it's best to stop harvesting rhubarb around the longest day in June. This lets the plant grow so the crown has lots of energy inside to produce a good crop for next year. If eaten now, the stalks would be tough and chewy.
