My daffodils are starting to grow, do I need to protect them?

💡 Our Advice
Due to the wet, mild weather, many plants seem to be starting into growth early this year. We will get some cold weather at some stage, but your bulbs should be able to cope. If they are growing in containers you may need to insulate the pots to prevent the compost freezing.
