When is the best time to prune a Laurel hedge?

💡 Our Advice
The best time is mid to late spring when the plants are going through their main surge of growth. After you have pruned the hedge we suggest you feed it with a general fertiliser such as Growmore or pelleted chicken manure at about 100 grams per metre of hedge, and water it in well. A second trim may be required in late-summer.
