When is the best time to prune my summer flowering heathers?

💡 Our Advice
These plants should be pruned either; immediately after flowering, or in the following early to mid-spring. Always prune to just below the dead flowers to encourage bushy growth. Never prune back into old, bare stems as they will often die back rather than make new growth.
