How and when should I prune winter flowering heathers?

💡 Our Advice
Just trim off the flowers as soon as they have faded with shears or secateurs. Do not prune too severely as they will not shoot from old wood. Be sure to brush away all of the prunings or they will start to rot and spread disease into the rest of the plant.
