When should I prune my climbing potato plant?

💡 Our Advice
Climbing potato, Solanum crispum Glasnevin, is semi-evergreen. Prune in early spring by cutting back the side shoots to about four buds. Cut out any shoots which have suffered from frost damage and remove old stems at the base. Tie in the remaining stems to supports.
