Can I sow the seeds from berries formed on my potato tops?

Our Advice:

Yes, collect the berries and remove the seeds. Sow them in the spring into large pots or bags. The seedlings tend to produce large numbers of small tubers. These 'seedling tubers' can be stored over winter and planted out the following spring to produce a crop.
