Why are my pansies not flowering?
Our Advice
Lack of sunlight: Pansies need plenty of sunlight to flower, so if they are planted in a shady location, they may not bloom. Make sure the plants are getting at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day.
!!Nutrient deficiencies: If the plants are not getting enough nutrients, they may not produce flowers. Try fertilizing with a balanced, slow-release fertiliser to provide the necessary nutrients.
!!Overfertilizing: On the other hand, if the plants are getting too much fertiliser, this can also hinder flower production. Make sure to follow the recommended application rates and frequency for your specific fertiliser.
!!Pests or diseases: Pests or diseases can also prevent pansies from flowering, so check the plants for signs of damage or infection and treat accordingly.
