Why are the leaves of my Californian lilac falling off?

💡 Our Advice
Ceanothus plants prefer a well-drained soil. Many are dying now as a result of being in wet soil all winter. If the roots have been badly damaged the plant may die. Try feeding it with Organic Liquid Seaweed from Vitax help it try and recover.
