When is the best time to sow agapanthus seeds?

Our Advice:

As soon as the seed capsules have turned brown, remove the black seeds and sow immediately into trays of John Innes seed compost. Place the trays in a cold frame or sheltered spot in the garden. Cover the compost with a layer of grit to deter slugs.
