How can I stop Cutter bees stripping my Bottle brush tree?

Our Advice:

You don't want to harm these bees, so we think the best approach would be to protect Callistemon bush by covering it with insct proof mesh, as soon as you start to notice any cutter bee activity. Many gardens centres sell Enviromesh or Insect Proof Netting, this will protect the plant without harming these beneficial insects.
