When should I cut the leaves off my strawberry plants?
Our Advice
As soon as all the fruit has been picked, cut off the old leaves. You can trim with shears about 10 cm (4in) above the crown of the plant, leaving the new leaves. This protects the crown from damage and helps control pests and diseases.
