The seeds keep disappearing from my strawberry fruits, why?

💡 Our Advice
This is probably the strawberry seed beetle, they are about 1cm long and with a black shiny shell. They only eat the seeds and a small amount of fruit as they ripen. You can spray with PY insecticide or use traps. These are jam jars into the ground level with the soil surface to act as a trap. Once the beetles fall in, they can't escape.
