What causes shoot tips to die on star jasmine?

Our Advice:

Usually wind damage as moisture is sucked out of the leaves and soft young shoots by strong winds. Prune of the dead shoot tips, cutting back to strong, healthy stems. Mulch the plant to keep the roots moist to reduce the damage next winter.
