What is causing holes in the leaves of my laurel hedge?

💡 Our Advice
This is shot-hole, caused by a bacterial disease that is worse in wet weather. Remove any dead or dying branches then spray with either Bordeaux mixture from Vitax or Fruit and Veg Disease Control from Bayer. It helps to stop the new leaves from becoming infected.
