What is causing orange lumps on the leaves on my pear tree?

Our Advice:

This is pear rust. Collect and dispose of all fallen leaves and next spring start spraying after flowering with Systhane Fungus Fighter from Bayer. This will help protect against further infection. Repeat as recommended on the carton.
