What is causing rough brown spots on the leaves of my pear tree?

💡 Our Advice
This is caused by the pear leaf blister mite, which can lead to premature leaf fall. Control of this pest is all about timing. Wait until after harvesting then spray the tree with either Resolva Bug Killer from Westland or SB Plant Invigourator. This is when pests are exposed as they move to hide in the fruit buds over winter.
