When should I cut back my Penstemon?

💡 Our Advice
The best time is in spring when the risk of frost has gone. Remove frost damaged shoots and cut out any thin or weak shoots. Cut the remaining shoots down to 10 cm (4 in) to encourage new growth from the base of the plant.
