Should I prune my Hellebores so that I can see the flowers?

💡 Our Advice
You can trim the stem less types such as Helleborus x hybridus just before the flowers open. The best time to trim most hellebores is just after they have finished flowering. Cut down the old leaves and flower stems. This will clear the way for new shoots and leaves to emerge, and helps to prevent hellebore leaf spot disease.
