How do I prevent my geraniums from becoming leggy?

💡 Our Advice
Leggy geraniums can be caused by a lack of sunlight or overfertilization. Make sure your geraniums are getting enough sunlight, and avoid overfertilizing with a high-nitrogen fertiliser, which can encourage leafy growth at the expense of flowers. Prune your geraniums regularly to encourage bushier growth and remove any leggy stems.
